Clearing Browser Cache

Occasionally, issues may arise that necessitate the clearing of outdated cached data from the browser.

Google Chrome



Open Google Chrome and navigate to the|| website for which you want to clear the cache.

Click on the Lock/Info Icon:
- Look to the left of the address bar. You’ll see a lock or an info icon (depending on the site’s security settings).
- Click on this icon.

Site Settings:
- In the dropdown menu that appears, click on Site settings.

Clear Data:
- You’ll be taken to a settings page specifically for that site. Scroll down to find the Clear data button and click on it.

Reload the Site:
- Go back to the site tab and reload the page. You may do this by clicking on the circular arrow icon located near the address bar or by pressing F5 on your keyboard (Windows) or Cmd + R for Mac


Microsoft Edge



In Microsoft Edge, clearing the cache for a specific site can be done with the following steps:

Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to the website for which you want to clear the cache.

Click on the Lock/Info Icon:
- To the left of the address bar, you’ll find a lock or an info icon (depending on the site’s security settings).
- Click on this icon.

Site Permissions:
- In the dropdown that appears, click on Site permissions.

Clear Data:
- You will be taken to a settings page specifically for that site.
- Under "Usage", you will see a Clear data button. Click on it to clear the cache and cookies for that specific site.

Refresh the Page:
- Go back to the site tab and reload the page by clicking the circular arrow icon near the address bar or by pressing F5 on your keyboard (Windows) or Cmd + R (Mac).

This method should help an end user to clear the cache for a specific website in Microsoft Edge without much hassle.
